Last week end was the finales of the french championship. This year they organized our competition in the same time as the slalom french championships. That can look pretty normal in your country, like in the states, but here it's a big step to better relations between the two disciplines, more used to piss off as much as they can the other.
I did the opening of the slalom, to show the white flag, and as i missed a gate every body got cooler, which was the aim.
On the freestyle side, we had a sticky hole as feature, and that was pretty tough especially with my new Guigui which is a bit bigger (5 millimeters higher all around the boat). I still could catch more air than before, which allows me to make more points with less moves, which is more efficient and less risky… I had the idea in CO when i competed on the pro tour and got kicked out of the first final because of that… It should be fixed for next year ;).
So i managed to win the event, and we had a big party on saturday, but you already know this story…
So freestyle season is over. That was sweet.. But it's time for free sessions and training for the sick line!
